Lake Nona's event spaces are, by the standards of Central Florida, brand new. Clean lines, big glazing, neutral finishes, good power. Technically easy rooms. The difficulty is not acoustic — it is demographic.

The guest list in a Lake Nona reception is usually the widest of any part of Orlando: a couple in their late twenties or early thirties, a Latin side of the family, a country-leaning side of the family, colleagues who came from somewhere else entirely, and grandparents who are staying to the end and should not be treated as decoration.

Playing Top 40 next to Latin next to country next to hip-hop is easy. Doing it so nobody feels handed off is not. The transition is where it works or fails: shared tempo, shared key feel, a run of three records that belong to one group of guests before it steps sideways into the next.
